President's State of the Nation Address

President Benigno Simeon “BS” Aquino delivered his 4th SONA on the fourth Monday of the seventh month,July 22.2013.It has been three years since majority of Filipino voters elected the son of so-called “heroes” into the highest office in the land. Little did those voters know that after he banished the use of “wang-wang” on the streets in his first month in office — a decision some thought was bold and a sign that he meant business — not much would change under his leadership.

It is common that every SONA, President always make promises. From what I've read from his speech, there are many accomplishments that he had done. I am very amazed and proud to see and know that the families who are in squatters, now have homes. Even the farmers. They have more lands to to work on. And there are also more schools, hospitals, public markets, etc. that provides higher and effective facilities and at a low cost.

In the closing part of the speech, what BS Aquino calls “our SONA”, the following words were said…
''The road ahead of us is long; and we never said it would be easy—or that we could tread this path free of challenge. But I do not doubt our capacity to overcome any obstacle. We did not achieve our current success by chance. Let us not allow this transformation to be temporary; let us seize this opportunity to make the change permanent.''

I hope that this words would happen in his administration with his willingness to serve and develop our country. I hope he can further keep the good work in improving the current status of our country. Though, even if there are many projects, we, students still need help in terms of protection and education. And with our help, we can also ''“seize this opportunity to make the change permanent''!

2013's Nutrition Month Celebration

                                                  2013's Nutrition Month Celebration

FOOD IS ENERGY. In everything we do, we must use energy. And
we get it by eating foods. For people who can eat 3 times a day, the only uncomfortable feeling they can get or feel is when they skip their breakfast or lunch or dinner. Try to compare it to those people who can’t afford to eat 3 times a day. How much more they can feel?
Malnutrition. None of us want to go to this level. None of us wants or want to be in that freaky health state. None of us wants to be the first to say goodbye. As students, we need to realize what is important. We need to stay strong to be able to keep up in school. If not, we will be weak. We all know that starvation is caused by poverty that occurs in our nation. We can't deny it. But we can't say that we are not necessarily eating, we are rich in natural resources like vegetables or plants where we can get or  gain some vitamins, minerals, irons and others. Starvation and MalnutritionThis two conditions are commonly coupled each other.Take for an instance that you're doing something yet you are starving. Do you think you can function good?
No. We will not be able to cope up. We can easily fall down.
So we are celebrating this month of nutrition to encourage those people who don't remember to eat those nutritious who were just in our own backyards and surroundings that will benefit us. So come on and let us fight for malnutrition!

                       First Grading Period?

                                     A little bit of  a failure. :'(

In this grading period, I learned about the different aspects and knowledge about the Internet. I learned also about the Internet timeline which improved my knowledge. The definitions of Internet, web browsers, web page, different level of domains , Country code top level domain , etc. are some of the topics that we've gained and learned in this grading period.
Depression and pressure to do well in school is one of the problem that I'd encountered . Not one high school student does not struggle with these pressures at some point in school. Some have more trouble than others, but typically, these are ongoing problems. I do not know how to significantly manage my time.     Suffering from depression means more than just dealing with a bad week or even a bad month. Yes, a MONTH. And I suffered to much depression. But after a month of realizing things, I did overcome that depression. All I did is to think positive things and to improve my appearance.     ''Life is a continuous exercise in creative problem solving.  A mistake doesn’t become a failure until you refuse to correct it. Thus, most long-term failures are the outcome of people who make excuses instead of decisions.''
